Three Options
Green Hill Solar offers three ways to go solar. Each has it’s own advantages, and we can help talk through which might fit your situation best.
1. Cash Purchase
Pay for your system outright and own it from day one. This option has the highest upfront cost, but it delivers the greatest long-term return. Once your system has paid for itself, the electricity it produces is effectively free.
*Best for: homeowners and businesses who want to maximize long-term savings and are comfortable with the upfront investment.
2. Solar Loan
Own your system while spreading the cost over time. We can put you in touch with loan companies that we have evaluated and like, though you’re welcome to work with any lender of your choosing. The loan is between you and your lender, and we handle everything on the installation side.
*Best for: homeowners and businesses who want the long-term benefits of ownership without paying the full amount upfront.
3. Solar Lease
The Solar Lease through Palmetto LightReach removes the biggest barrier to going solar: the upfront cost. You don't purchase the system — Palmetto owns and maintains it (although you can purchase it after 5 years). You pay a predictable monthly rate that's lower per kWh than what your utility currently charges, so you save from day one.
*Best for: homeowners who want to start saving on their electric bill without a large upfront investment.
